About the Gambills

Chris and Beck met at Toccoa Falls College and spent the first 20+ years of marriage serving the church together in pastoral ministry with the Alliance. Chris has served as assistant pastor, youth director, worship pastor, and executive pastor throughout the years in Alliance churches in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Wyoming, Alabama, and Georgia. Beck and Chris both love the church and highly value discipleship.

In 2022, God invited them to join Envision as a next step. They relocated to the Holy Land to begin developing the first Envision site in the Middle East. However, due to regional conflict, the development of that site has paused, and they have joined the Envision Cleveland team for a season. Chris and Beck’s combination of organizational and relational skills is a good fit for Envision ministry. Both Chris and Beck highly value developing the next generation for kingdom living and helping them discover their place in God’s kingdom.

Chris and Beck also have a heart for helping people grow in their understanding of God’s invitation to be a peacemaker. After a season of living among people in conflict, they believe Jesus’ followers being His peace and presence is the way bridges are built across division in communities, families, and between enemies. It’s their prayer to demonstrate the presence of peace in Cleveland and to the teams and interns they work with.

Fun facts: they have three children, Max, Layla, and Maggie; they owned a Greek Deli for a brief time, and they enjoy leading worship together.
